چکیده
The first synthesis of gold nanoparticles stabilised by a sub-stoichiometric amount of sp(2) phosphorus containing ligands was performed, as well as their immobilisation on mesostructured silica and titania hosts.

Mesoporous Silica Based Gold Catalysts: Novel Synthesis and Application in Catalytic Oxidation of CO and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
Gold nanoparticles, particularly with the particle size of 2–5 nm, have attracted increasing research attention during the past decades due to their surprisingly high activity in CO and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) oxidation at low temperatures. In particular, CO oxidation below room temperature has been extensively studied on gold nanoparticles supported on several oxides (TiO2, Fe2O3, Ce...
متن کاملSynthesis of fine gold nanoparticles in mesoporous titania nanoparticles through different reduction methods.
This study focuses on the synthesis of gold nanoparticles-embedded mesoporous titania nanoparticles (Au@MTNs). Recently, mesoporous titania materials doped with noble metals such as gold, silver and platinum have attracted considerable attention because noble metals can enhance the efficiency of mesoporous titania-based devices. In this research, we attempted to use four different reduction met...
متن کاملSoft route for monodisperse gold nanoparticles confined within SH-functionalized walls of mesoporous silica†
In this paper, we report a soft route leading to small gold nanoparticles confined within the framework of 2D-hexagonal mesoporous SH-functionalised silicas. For that purpose, a hydrophilic bis-silylated precursor containing a disulfide unit was prepared. Framework-functionalised materials were obtained in one step by the ‘‘direct synthesis’’ method which consists of a co-hydrolysis and polycon...
متن کاملTemplated Growth of Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering-Active Branched Gold Nanoparticles within Radial Mesoporous Silica Shells
Noble metal nanoparticles are widely used as probes or substrates for surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), due to their characteristic plasmon resonances in the visible and near-IR spectral ranges. Aiming at obtaining a versatile system with high SERS performance, we developed the synthesis of quasi-monodisperse, nonaggregated gold nanoparticles protected by radial mesoporous silica shells...
متن کاملSynthesis of Gold Catalysts Supported on Mesoporous Silica Materials: Recent Developments
Mesoporous silica materials (MSM) with ordered and controllable porous structure, high surface area, pore volume and thermal stability are very suitable catalyst supports, because they provide high dispersion of metal nanoparticles and facilitate the access of the substrates to the active sites. Since the conventional wet-impregnation and deposition-precipitation methods are not appropriate for...
